I perform an assessment based on your individual needs, this may include:

  • posture
  • balance
  • strength
  • coordination
  • anything else that is applicable

  • I then design a therapeutic yoga program based on your individual needs. The program can be done as a home based program (within 1-2 sessions) or can be done as an ongoing one to one guided treatment session with home exercises provided.

I combine traditional physiotherapy with yoga asana and breathing/relaxation techniques. Creating a flowing session of guided and sometimes facilitated movements with a focus on breathing.

We can decide together whether you would benefit from a “one off” assessment and home program or a more ongoing rehabilitative burst over a 6 or 8 week period

Soft Tissue Mobilization with Fascial Fulcrum Techniques: for the orthopedic and neurologic patient.

A developmental Manual Therapy Technique: entails treatment directed towards the correction of structural and functional components, a branch of osteopathic manual therapy, based on the fact that structure dictates function.

MFR can enhance a more traditional physiotherapy approach. It is a very gentle bunch of hands on techniques used to unwind the connective tissue in the body and promote healing from a structural and energetic level.
